🔒

Why this is separate from Profile.

Profile is about who you are on the platform — identity, trust score, Community+ reputation. The Security Center is about protecting your account and controlling what you're exposed to: who can reach it, what you've hidden, your exportable record, and how to pause or close it.

Overview

The Security Center brings together everything that isn't about building trust or platform activity, but about account protection: Logged-in Devices, Trusted Delegates, Blocked Members & Posts, Download Your Data, and Account Safety Zone (deactivate/delete).

Find it from Profile's Security Center link card, or directly from the account menu in the top navigation.

Why it moved: As Garder added more account-protection features — delegates, personal blocking, data export — the Profile page got crowded. Splitting them out keeps Profile focused on identity and trust, and gives safety actions their own dedicated home.

Logged-in Devices

See every browser currently signed in to your account, and log out any one you don't recognize — instantly, without needing to change your password.

💻

What each entry shows

A readable device label (e.g. "Chrome on Windows", "Safari on iPhone"), the IP address it signed in from, and when it was last active. The device you're using right now is marked This device and can't be logged out from this list — use the regular Logout button for that.

🔌

Log out one device

Tap Log out next to any device that isn't yours or that you no longer use — it's signed out immediately. Anyone using it will be asked to log in again on their next action.

🧹

Log out everywhere else

One button signs out every device except the one you're currently using — useful the moment you suspect your account is logged in somewhere it shouldn't be.

Web browsers only, for now. The Garder mobile app already limits itself to one signed-in device at a time — logging in on a new phone automatically signs the app out everywhere else, so there's nothing extra to manage there.

Trusted Delegates

Name a Primary and Backup delegate — someone who can be reached if you're ever unresponsive for an extended period, and who can receive your wallet balance if something happens to you. Delegates are verified independently before they're trusted with anything.

🕊️

Trusted Delegates & Memorialization Guide

Delegate verification, dormancy detection, filing a claim, execution, and the fast continuity paths for Susu and support-plan extensions.

Blocked Members & Posts

Block a member or an individual post from Community+, Matters, or a Circle to hide it from your own feeds — this is personal and immediate, and doesn't affect what anyone else sees. It's different from reporting, which sends content to admin review.

🚫

Blocking a member

Hides all of their posts and comments from your feeds. If you have an active support plan with them, they stay visible until it's settled.

🙈

Blocking a post

Hides just that one post, without blocking the member who wrote it.

↩️

Undoing it

The Security Center lists everyone and everything you've blocked, each with an Unblock button — nothing is permanent.

Download Your Data

Export a complete copy of your platform data — profile, support plans, wallet transactions, Community+ activity, Susu memberships, Funds, and trust history — as raw JSON or a formatted PDF. Third-party sensitive fields are always redacted.

Included data Examples
Account details Basic profile, account status, creation date, and role context.
Platform activity Support plans, applications, Funds, Susu/Circles activity, Community+ posts, and wallet transaction records where available.
Trust history Score snapshots, score change reasons, and repayment-related signals.
OTP required: A 6-digit code is sent to your email before either download starts.

Account Safety Zone

Deactivation is a reversible pause; deletion is permanent after a 30-day grace window. Both can be blocked by unresolved obligations — active support plans, defaults, wallet balances, active Susu cycles, or live Funds.

1

Deactivate first

Deletion always begins with deactivation — your profile and support offers are hidden, everything else stays intact.

2

Confirm deletion request

An OTP confirms the deletion request before it's scheduled.

3

30-day grace window

Log back in any time during this window to cancel — nothing is lost yet.

4

Permanent deletion

After the grace period, account identity is removed or anonymized according to platform retention rules.

FAQ

Is the Security Center the same as the Profile page?

No. Profile covers identity, trust score, and Community+ reputation. The Security Center covers logged-in devices, delegates, blocking, data export, and deactivation/deletion — reach it from a link card on Profile or from the account menu.

I don't recognize a device in my Logged-in Devices list — what should I do?

Log it out immediately using the Log out button next to it, or use "Log out all other devices" to sign out everywhere except the browser you're currently using. Then consider changing your password.

Does logging out a device also sign it out of the mobile app?

No — Logged-in Devices only covers web browser sessions. The mobile app already limits itself to one signed-in device at a time, so a new phone login automatically signs out any previous one.

Does blocking someone affect their view of me?

No. Blocking is personal and one-directional — it only changes what you see, never what anyone else sees.

Can I unblock someone later?

Yes, any time, from the Security Center — both blocked members and blocked posts have their own Unblock button.

Can I download my data before leaving?

Yes. Use the data export option in the Security Center before deactivation or deletion.

Why do I need an OTP for these actions?

Data export, deactivation, and deletion are all high-impact — an email OTP protects against accidental or unauthorized changes.
